abstract: The influence of six doses of mineral fertilizers on yielding and botanical structure of meadow situated on Wysoczyzna Lubartowska in Kurówka river valley was presented in paper. The meadow was sown with two mixtures consisting of grasses and papilionaceous plants of various compositions. After nine years of study it was found that dose of 150 kg N ha-1 Bromus inermis was characterized with such great competition force that it dominated even Dactylis glomerata. Therefore, one should pay atention not to exceed 8% share of Bromus inermis in a mixture and even less.
