abstract: Researches of a soil cover of small tranition peat-land and its basin were conducted in 1999-2001 years. In centre of the peat was made a transition peat-land which in some parts is high. The soil cover of the peat-land is diverse: there are brown soils in the west and the north-west part, podzol soils in the north south parts, gley soils in the south-west part and black earths and mucky lands in the east part. The main aim of researchers was to determine a basin's influence on contents of macroelemsnts in soils of an inner-field transition peat-land the low contents of macroelements is the major feature of the sample soil from the peat-land and basin. The edge of peat is characterized by high trophic of habitat in comparision to oligotrophic in his central part. A development of marginal parts of the peat is caused by deluvial waters from pastures and cultivates fields.
