abstract: On the basis of results gathered from a field experiment, the dependence of contents and uptake of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium by cocksfoot grass on meteorological conditions was established. The dependence was assessed using correlation coefficients, multiple correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, significance level and multiple regression equations. It was established that contents of phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and uptake of these elements significantly depends, although to a rela-tively small extent, on some meteorological elements (air relative humidity, cloud cover, soil temperature, air temperature) in the area of experiment. The proposed multiple regression equations, with the choice of the best subset of independent variables, enable to calculate changes in contents and absorption of P, K an Mg by cocksfoot grass depending on some meteorological elements. Further research on chemical composition of crop plants depending on meteorological elements is recommended. |
