abstract:  Modified conductometric method of plants frost resistance evaluation is shown in this work. The conductometric determination of electrolyte leakage from the frost � affected cells was used to estimate actually frost resistance of cultivable plants. The index of injury was calculated and plotted as a function of temperature to estimate the temperature at which 50% of tissue was damaged. These research results might lead to explain some phenomena of low temperature influence on plants.
