abstract: Paper presents research results of some selected electrical properties of grain and grain dust. The measurements concern resistivity, real and imaginary parts of dielectric permittivity. There are results of new electrotechnology tests i.e.: convective wheat grain drying in presence of electric field and corona wind, dust removal using bifilar filters. The investigations were carried out in the Department of General Electrotechnology. The energy saving ratio factor achieved value of 37% at tested range, at minimal used air velocity and maximal used electric field intensity value. Results of research on the bifilar filters point out the possible increase of dust removal efficiency between 5 and 11% in comparison to fabric filters.
