abstract:  The paper presents a review of methods used for determination the modulus of elasticity of wheat grain. The method of investigation of strength, strain, modulus of elasticity and specific work during uniaxial compression of barrel-shaped core samples was presented. It was found that proposed procedure used for determination of basic mechanical properties of the grain is proper and corresponds to others authors results.
