abstract:        The fertilization level and agricultural practices, besides the soil value (bonitation class), strongly affect the crop yields. The results obtained show that under the conditions of proper agricultural practices, the fertilization efficiency was not always consistent with the soil value class. It is suggested that the criteria used for soil value estimation should be revised. Plant production results depend on fertilization level and technology of field crop-production. For these reasons they should also be included in the soil value estimation.
