abstract: The article presents an economic and energy evaluation of technologies of winter rape production, evaluation of processing of the crop into biodiesel and calculation of economic and energy efficiency indexes of biofuel production from winter rape. The study shows that biofuel production can be profitable on the condition that not only biofuel will be sold, but also straw and extracted meal. Besides, at the same time, to guarantee assured profits, value-added tax, excise tax and fuel tax rates should be lower.
