abstract: The 3-year field experiment results are presented in the paper. The experiment was conducted in the Agricultural Experimental Station Zawady of University of Podlasie in Siedlce. The influence of soil tillage methods and weed control methods on the useful yield of tubers of the Wiking potato cultivar was studied. Moreover, regression analysis and coefficients of correlation was applied to evaluate the dependencies between potato plantation weeding an yielding of potato. There was noted a high negative correlation between the weeds number, fresh matter and air-dry matter and the useful yield of potato tubers. The relationship was linear.
