abstract: The field experiment was carried out in the years 2002-2004 on a sandy soil. The effect of drip irrigation and nitrogen fertilization on chemical composition of fruits and leaves of raspberry was studied. Supplemental irrigation significantly decreased the content of total and nitrate nitrogen in the leaves and only nitrate nitrogen in the fruits of raspberry. Irrigation increased the content of P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe in the leaves and K and Fe in the fruits. Nitrogen fertilizer (120 kg N ha-1) significantly increased the content of the total and nitrate nitrogen and potassium in both the fruits and leaves, and phosphorus only in the fruits, however decreased the content of P, Ca, Mg and Zn in the fruits.
