abstract: The aim of investigation was to determine whether pre – sowing laser radiation changed alfa-amylase activity. Material to investigation consisted of three Triticale cultivars and two spring wheat cultivars. Spring Triticale form was Migo, winter forms were Presto and Tornado. Spring wheat cultivars were represented by Korynta and Olimpia. In the control and irradiated grains (used semi – conducted laser light) alfa-amylase activity was determined. Analyses were indicated after one, two and three days. Reaction of Triticale and wheat genotypes on laser light was differentiated in respect test enzyme.
