abstract: This study presents the variability of temperature and precipitation conditions at Koniczynka (Chełmno Lakeland) in the years 1994-2007. The research draws on the measurements taken for the purpose of Integrated Environmental Monitoring. In the studied period the mean temperature of the air reached 8.5°C and the mean annual precipitation total amounted to 534.8 mm. A gradual increase was ob-served both in the case of air temperature and precipitation, however it was not statistically significant. According to H. Lorenc’s classification of temperature and precipitation, the most frequent were the years that fall within the mean values and warm years, whether dry or wet. The obtained results regarding the changes of air temperature and precipitation at Koniczynka have been validated against similar results for the whole of Poland in long-term periods of measurement.
