abstract: One of the production wastes generated by food and agricultural industries in the process of potato starch potato production, which is a source of so-called „non-forest biomass”, is potato pulp. The paper presents the results of investigations on the influence of material and process parameters on the densification process of potato pulp, executed on the SS-3 test station. The investigations permit to affirm that is a material susceptible to densification and that pellets produced from it have high density (1106-1315 kg m-3) and may be utilised as solid ecological fuel in the future.
