abstract: Rapeseed is a plant which makes number of difficulties in combine harvesting. This is caused by rapid changes of maturity of canopy at the end of maturing. The following paper presents changes of quantity and quality losses of rapeseed according to various harvest time. Early harvesting had negative influence on seed technological value, however late harvesting resulted in considerable increase of quantity losses caused both by shattering and harvester. Therefore the estimation of proper harvest time is the most important meter and it determines yield as well as value of the row material for oil produce.
