abstract: This paper presents different variants of utilising the GIS methods and tools to visualisation of spatial data for needs of climatology. The results of meteorological observation and measurements were used was executed in 1997-2002. The study area is in the eastern part of Beskid Sądecki Mountains range, at the border with Beskid Niski, and occupies a section of the Czarny Potok catchment area on the slopes of Jaworzyna Krynicka Massif. A microclimatic valorisation is introduced graphically with the use of Geographic Information System tools. The results were executed was complex microclimatic valorisation of Jaworzyna Krynicka. It the advanced methods of analysis were used was in geoinformatic support about interpolated procedures, generalisation procedures and spatial analysis. It was executed over 200 thematic layers for different climatic indicators and meteorological elements together. The geographical information system elements used for presenting the variability of the results are a good and versatile information-gathering tool as regards the spatial differentiation of the microclimatic and topoclimatic conditions at Jaworzyna Krynicka.
