abstract:
The estimation of water environment quality of Narew river based on the samples of water, bottom sediments and water plant was made. It was found, that studied waters were nitrates (III)- and phosphates-polluted. These pollutants could come from domestic sewage. The traffic and domestic pollutants were the source of raised cadmium and lead content in bottom sediments and water plant. The peatbogs and swamps surrounding river were effective barrier against area pollutants.
