abstract: The growth of population density cause intensive increase of concentration of residential housing, industrial development, trade, servicing and communication what is connected with the increase of impermeable areas. The problem of surface runoff discharging from urban areas of substratum high impermeability is an important factor shaping hydrological conditions of a basin. Basis sealing cause the increase of surface runoff coefficient. The change of this coefficient cause increase of charge in the main stream and brings about the water is collected in the local ground lowering, while in another places it may cause area violent drying. Rain which falls over the urban areas has limited possibility of ground infiltration, that is why it has to be seized and drained. The conceptions of management of local rainwater pond near tarred road in the Brzegi (Świętokrzyskie province) were presented in the work. The dimensioning of devices for rainwater infiltration were carried out for three variant solutions: infiltration ditch with coarse-grained gravel, infiltration ditch as above plus additional dripping pipeline and combinated scheme of percolation by use of absorbing well and infiltration ditch with dripping pipeline.
