abstract: The attempt of quantitative evaluation of pluviothermic extreme conditions in the spring period on the area of Poland in the years 1971-2000 based on hydrothermal Sielianinows coefficient was the aim of the work. Calculated values of hydrothermal coefficient in the years 1971-2000 allowed to determine regions and months extremely dry and extremely wet on the area of Poland. In the investigated period the significant spatial differentiation of occurrence of pluviothermal extremal conditions was shown.
