abstract:
The estimation of possibility for field water capacity parametrization of different soil groups from Świętokrzyskie voivodship is presented against the values for the whole of Poland. Statistical tests showed in the paper did not confirm the hypothesis that it is possible to estimate water characteristics for a region from data showing the general soil water properties for the whole country. It should be emphasized, however, that in some cases the value intervals of the investigated property are nearly the same.
