abstract: In eroded areas, where there are erosional processes of soil caused by water or wind, the landscape ought to be shaped by man. In the landscaping on eroded soils, the first step is the regulation of the structure of land utilization. In our mountain and hill regions, the share of arable lands in the utilization structure is too high, and therefore soil erosion is so intensive. Reduction of the arable lands is very needed. In the mountain regions of our country we must reduce about 50% of arable lands which are not useful for tillage and transform them into grasslands or forests. In which way the landscapes shaped will be more friendly to the environment. Very need are also changes of the tillage direction - to transverse to natural fall of the lands. On the areas where oil erosion is very intensive, specific landscapes must to be created, for example: ribboned on undulating terrains and buffer landscape on long mountain slopes, where the buffers are grass belts between arable lands. All the mentioned landscapes reduce erosion washes and are also very beautiful.
