abstract:
Existing methods of ridge terraces spacing calculation are characterized in the paper, as well as the way of spacing calculation by means of an erosion model – WinSEADS. The model has been verified by the results of three years’ field investigations which were carried out during the years 2000-2002 in the Agricultural Experimental Station in Puczniew on a 10% slope covered with medium loam. It was found that spacing calculated by existing methods differs considerably.
