Water and air conditions and crop yield meadow of meliorations in Piwonia river valley

abstract: The aim of paper was to analyze the current water relations on the background of natural and farming conditions. Studies performed at Sosnowica intersection during vegetation in 2002 included: measurements of ground and surface water level changes, soil humidity as well as green forage yields. Analysis of study results revealed that the highest water level was recorded at the end of March, the lowest – in the middle of June. In the analyze study result, the depth level of water in points 1 – 5 standard exceedance drainage. Negative water relations affected the hay yield that was from 25 up to 60 dt.ha-1. There was an excessive drying of soil and improper area performance, which results in degradation of soil and plant cover on studied intersection.
