Method for the localization of rainwater flow barriers under the conditions of the “Olszanka” object

abstract: The paper presents the fundamentals of a designed numerical model of rainwater outflow on overgrown slope and valley. The numerical calculations, realized with an established group of simplifying assumptions, were subjected at an initial empirical verification under the conditions of the research object in Olszanka near Krasniczyn. The simulation was provided in two variants – with and without taking account of the existence of an original anti-erosion system (flow barriers) installed on the research object. The presented numerical model can be used in the process of design of the subject anti-erosion protection systems. The study presented in the paper was realized as a part of No 1564/T09/2001/21 project of The State Committee for Scientific Research.
