abstract: Stress relaxation in radish and small radish flesh tissue was studied. Changes of the stress decay in specimens were described by equations characteristics for multi-element Maxwell, Zener and Burgers models. The paper presents calculations of momentary elastic modulus Ei and dynamic viscosity factors ηi, ηa as parameters of accepted models. It was found that changes of parameter value relations were a consequence of approximation functions properties and test time. The small radish tissue had lower potential of elastic energy accumulation than the radish tissue. Dissipation of energy was more intensive and internal mechanical resistance was less, too.
