abstract: The paper presents the results of diurnal carbon dioxide flux variability measu-rements above triticale field. Measurements were made during four short sessions between May and September, 2004 (three different growth phases of grain and stubble filed), in order to investigate the relation between growth of triticale and vertical transport of carbon dioxide intensity. Eddy covariance method was used for flux estimation. Measurements showed a distinct diurnal rhythm of carbon dioxide flux. The range of diurnal variations of the flux changed from maximal in the growth phase of triticale to minimal before and after harvest (stubble field)
