abstract: The paper presents selected results of tests performed on rapeseeds and mustardseeds whose coats were removed using the hulling machine. Dehulling process description was based on tests performed with the hulling disk at the inclination angle of the blade working surface of 45o. A disc impact area with seeds was defined and calculated. The analysis of dehulled seeds was based on macroscopic photographs. An analysis was made of the damage to fruit-seed coat and seeds after impact with hulling disk.
