abstract:
Basic models of coupled water and salt transport in building materials are presented in the paper. The methods for determination of water and salt transport and storage parameters are discussed from the point of view of the applicability of the parameters in the models. Finally, an example of determination of moisture diffusivity and salt diffusion coefficient from the measured moisture and salt concentration profiles is given.
