abstract: The aim of the investigation was estimation of the significance of the quantitative effect of dockage in interaction with temperature, moisture and stress state on the quality of rapeseeds variety Bolko in long term storage. Seeds samples of 4, 6 and 11% moisture content and dockage of 0, 7 and 12% were stored in pressurized chambers in a temperature of 7, 20 and 30°C for 180 days. The construction of the chambers simulated storage conditions existing in industrial silos. The changes of temperature and moisture of rapeseeds were constantly recorded, whereas the alternation of technological value i.e. the content of fat, chlorophyll, acid value and peroxide value were estimated systematically, every 20 days, throughout the storage period (180 days). The investigation showed that storage temperature, seed moisture content and dockage value exerted a very significant influence on the quality of rapeseeds.
