abstract:
The aim of this paper was optimization of work of the threshing assembly of a harvester combine basing on a mathematical model of threshing process. This paper contains a way of selecting an optimization method and its verification by applying results of investigations showing influence of crop conditions on grain losses. The problem of optimization consisted in searching for the best solution from admissible solutions with regard to settled criterion. The pro-posed optimization of the threshing method in Bizon harvester allows simultaneous obtaining of work conditions at minimum values of grain losses, which is an essential issue in the case of multi-dimensional optimization.
