abstract: The subject of the investigation was the determination of iron chelates Librel Fe-DP7, Pionier Fe 13 and Top 12 effects on the yield of two greenhouse tomato cultivars – Cunero F1 and DRW 5900 F1 – grown in rockwool. It was proved that the tested chelates featured similar suitability as a source of iron for greenhouse tomato grown in soil-les culture. This fact could be proved by the lack of significant diversity in total, marketable, early and very early yield regarding Cunero F1 and DRW 5900 F1 cultivars grown in solutions with these fertilizers. No considerable differences were found in the yielding of Cunero F1 and DRW 5900 F1 cultivars, except for the very early yield, which was significantly higher in DRW 5900 F1 cv.
