abstract: The research on pepper was conducted in a glasshouse in 2002/2003. It was aimed at analysing the influence of different calcium fertilizers, used in foliar fertilization, on yielding and chemical composition of pepper leaves as well as fruits. It was observed that calcium fertilization had no significant influence on yielding. However, it was confirmed that significantly fewer fruits were infected with blossom-end rot, compared to control plants. No influence was observed with respect to chemical composition of pepper leaves and fruits that were treated with the fertilizer.
