abstract: The aim of this investigation was the determination of the influence of nitrogen doses on the biomass yield of Sida. The investigation was carried out on the basis of a field experiment in which three doses of nitrogen on the base of PK were investigated. Sida was the tested plant whose samples for analysis were taken three times during the vegetation period. In the plant samples the total amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium were determined. Statistical analysis of Sida yield showed significant differences between investigated objects. The content of nitrogen increased under the influence of doses of nitrogen and the interaction with PK fertilization. Nitrogen doses caused a significant increase of the P and K content in the biomass of Sida.
