abstract: Analysis was made of the layout of potato tubers beneath the bush, and calculations were made of the form factors and spatial form filling. The calculated values indicate that the layout of tubers beneath a bush, measured with three parameters, assumes the highest value of nest width (across the gauge). Potato tubers from nests with greater volume were characterized by lower values of form factors Wa and Wb, which means that the ratio of tuber length to the two remaining dimensions assumed values close to 1, which in turn indicates more spherical shape of tubers.
