abstract: Influence of extrusion process conditions on physical properties of TPS film was the aim of the work. The study was concerned with the effect of the type of feeder worm, process temperature, emulsifier used, and material moisture on the strength of starch- and glycerine-based biodegradable foils. In the paper results of the influence of raw material composition on biodegradable film elasticity and endurance are presented. The emulsifiers applied notably improved the physical parameters of the foils, but not to a degree that would make them suitable for packing purposes.
