abstract: In 2005-2007 the effect of drip irrigation was tested on 2 highbush blueberry cultivars: ‘Spartan’ and ‘Patriot’. The tests were done on 7-, 8- and 9-year old plants which grew on sandy acid soil. Cv. ‘Spartan’ presented better response to irrigation than cv. ‘Patriot’; water productivity was also higher. Supplemental irrigation significantly increased the yield, weight of one berry. |
