abstract: The article presents the possibilities of financing, for the period of 2004-2006, of undertakings aimed at soil protection against erosion. Primary sources of financing are the following: 1. Plan of Sustaining Rural Terrain (PROW) – support for undertakings concerned with agricultural environments and improvements in animal up-keeping: “Protection of soil and waters” and “Buffer zones”. 2. Sector Operating Plan (SOP) – „ Management of agricultural water resources”. 3. Fund of Protecting Farming Grounds. 4. Purpose subsidies: work in the field of surveillance for farming purposes, sustaining tools of water melioration, subsidizing water partnerships realizing the tasks of melioration.
