abstract: This paper presents an evaluation of methods for the calculation of soil thermal conductivity on the basis of comparison of the thermal conductivity measured by a Thermo-TDR probe and calculated from the statistical-physical model and de Vries' model. The comparisons of soil thermal conductivity values obtained from the models showed a fairly good agreement with the values measured.
