abstract:
The paper presents a method for the preparation of grain or seed samples for laboratory testing purposes. The method is based on mathematical modeling of the thermal treatment (heating) process to allow the calculation of the thermal treatment parameters for the material studied to obtain the required final moisture content and temperature parameters. The principle and procedure of the method are illustrated on the example of a 50 g sample of milled grain heated in a 1000 W microwave oven.
