abstract:
Efforts to increase the yield and quality of cultivated plant materials induces the search for new methods of improving seed quality. Nowadays, pre-sowing stimulation of seeds with physical factors is applied more and more frequently. The methods are legitimate in view of the comprehensive proecological undertakings. The paper presents the results of a study on the effect of microwave radiation on the yield and the technological quality of sugar beet roots.
