abstract:        The paper presents a comparison of approximation of literature data to sorption equations by computational programs - SAS and STATISTICA. It was found that in some 8 cases differences as relative errors were very high. For example, for the moisture of the material the difference was 26%. but in 2 cases they were not significant. The higher the temperature, the smaller the differences. When the step of calculation was smaller, the results of coefficients to the Henderson equation were closer, but not in any absolute way. The coefficients were very close when some other equations, such as Chung-Pfost, Sowing, GAB or Halsey were taken into account.
