abstract: Material for investigations were 4 oat cultivars: Chwat, Sam, Sławko, Szakal and two nude oat forms: Akt and Polar. In laboratory conditions, after the application of 3 different doses of laser radiation, the sowing value and early development phases were evaluated. Reaction of investigated oat cultivars to pre-sowing laser stimulation was differentiated. For all cultivars significant coleoptile elongation was observed, but only for two cultivars elongation of first leaf was noted. Szakal cultivar reacted favourably to laser light by increased germination capacity by about 4% compared to control.
