abstract: In undulating areas, the soil is influenced by erosion and mechanical translocation (tillage erosion) caused by tools and agricultural machines. Fast measurements of soil parameters enable to simulate the threat of erosion. One of the factors required for the simulation is current soil moisture level in the arable layer. The work shows methods of dynamic soil moisture measurement in this type of area. An infrared reflectance probe was used and the results were compared to those obtained with the drying method applied.
