abstract: The paper presents an evaluation of the selected yield parameters of sweet pepper in the years 1994-2003 in relation to monthly mean of air temperature and the sum of effective air temperature in the June-September period. There was no relation between the sum of effective air temperature in the selected months and the whole period of sweet pepper cultivation and the magnitude of the total yield and the marketable yield. However, an important and positive correlation between the sum of effective air temperature of the June-September period and the early marketable yield was proved.
