abstract: In the pot experiment the range and direction of the changes in growth and yielding of spring wheat under conditions of liming and sulphur fertilization were analysed. The lowest rate of growth was observed in the objects where neither liming nor sulphur fertilization were applied. The dose and form of the liming fertilizer together with the sulphur dose have significantly affected the increase in the yields. The highest rate was achieved in case of applying the dolomite and higher dose of sulphur. Besides the achived results mean, that sodium sulphate has optimal influence on the yields of wheat cropped in the phase of tillering and flowering. Respectively, the elementary sulphur turned out have the most beneficial impact on the straw yields in case of plants fertilized with dolomite.
