abstract: In the paper series of maximum and minimum temperature were analysed. The standardized measurements were taken in the period of 1971-2005 in Research Centre of University of Technology and Agriculture at Mochełek, 20 km from Bydgoszcz. Mochełek is located in the south-eastern part of the Wysoczyzna Krajeńska area. The results of analysed data showed a great variability during that period of time, especially in winter months. Maximum temperature tended to increase. In four cases (April, August, warm half-year, a year) equations of linear trends were significant. Minimum temperature was characterized by lower significance of the equations for linear trends as compared to those for maximum temperature. Analysed trends had multidirectional character but mostly with decreasing tendency.
