abstract: The aim of this paper is to present a comparison of selected weather conditions in two mesoregions. The study was based on observations in the period of 1965-1995. Initial material come from the weather stations in Bałcyny (53° 59'N, 19° 50'E) and Łężany (53° 58'N, 21° 18'E), situated in two different mesoregions. The comparison of meteorological elements in these localities includes mean diurnal air temperatures, minimum temperatures, maximum temperatures of air, absolute maximum and minimum temperatures of air, average velocity of winds, average precipitation as well as sequences of days without any rainfall. The obtained results show the differences which occurred during the analysed period of thirty one years.
